Handmade Granola with Oat and Extra Virgin Olive Oil
After several attempts, I concluded that this recipe looks more like the granola we bought from the supermarket and my daughter really liked it. The biggest difference is that this one is handmade granola with pure materials while the other one is commercial and they use materials that we do not want to eat in our family.
Ingredients:
500 gr of organic oat flakes
1 1/2 cup of ground nuts of your choice (I use organic nuts and hazelnuts)
1/2 cup of organic extra virgin olive oil Aelia
2 spoons of thyme honey
1 small spoon of cinnamon
Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl and stir until the oat is wet. Πlace the mixture in a flat pan and press until it becomes all flat. Bake in air at 180 for 15 minutes. Leave it all night long. The next morning you can break it in pieces and enjoy it with some fresh goat milk and chocolate chips. You can store it in a airtight container.
